Thank you so much for deciding to fundraise for us.
If you would like any help, here are some suggestions:
Get Sponsored
Whether you’re taking on a walk, cycle, swim, or running a marathon, ask friends and family to sponsor you and maximise your contribution. Remember, you don’t have to be as fast as Usain Bolt! You can turn anything you love doing into a fun way help raise money: Turn your special day or event into one that will really mean something both for you and a community in Madagascar.Ask for donations in lieu of presents. Run, wash, swim, paint, climb, cave, sculpt, cycle, walk, collect, ride, jump, read, fly. Spend the day dressed as James Bond, Adele, the Gruffalo, Harry Potter, Barbara Windsor... Sponsor your beard,. Grow a sunflower. Stand on your head, Skim stones. Organise a cinemathon, Dance like no-one's looking. Cook like you know what you're doing! Wear purple. All over! There are 1000's of ways to raise money! |
Spread the Word
The more people who know you are looking for donations, the more people will help.
Social Media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, WhatsApp will all spread the word quickly. But don't forget your local newspaper, radio station, workplace/school noticeboards and website. |
It's easy and free to fundraise online, with our partners Just Giving. Get a personal fundraising page so your friends and family can sponsor you quickly and easily online. All donations made through www.justgiving.com or www.virginmoneygiving.com automatically have the gift aid claimed on them making the funds you raise even bigger!
