After the death of his wife, Felix and his children had to work for other people to keep the family together. But thanks to the support the project TAFITA granted him, he was able to renovate his house with simple tools, the same ones he uses to farm his various crops, such as sugarcane, yams, corn, beans and vanilla.
From that point on, Felix was able to become more and more self sufficient and is now able to do the work he wants to do for himself each day. He began to raise pigs, feeding them on agricultural surplus he was growing, with these he was also able to feed his family. Production has expanded, and he is now looking forward to buying new materials with the money he has been able to raise.
